Golden State Warriors Receive: F Paul George

Los Angeles Clippers Receive: F/G Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, 2021 1st Round Pick (via MIN), 2021 1st Round Pick (via GSW), 2023 1st Round Pick (via GSW), 2025 1st Round Pick Swap (via GSW)

In this particular blockbuster NBA trade scenario, the Golden State Warriors would acquire NBA All-Star Paul George in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, and the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 2021 1st round selection.

It remains to be seen where the Timberwolves’ first-round selection will end up landing until the NBA Draft Lottery takes place. In fact, the Warriors will not even have it convey unless if the pick lands outside of the top-three in the order after the ping pong balls sort it out.

While Andrew Wiggins is signed to a less-than-ideal contract that will earn him roughly $31.6M next season, he will only have two-years remaining on his deal after this season. Meanwhile, James Wiseman is on a rookie contract and could help reduce the disparity in value.
