From being one of the most exciting teams to watch during the regular season to falling just short of making the NBA playoffs, the Charlotte Hornets will be entering a critical offseason where they do have to make some moves, but are trending in the right direction as a franchise.

Drafting LaMelo Ball and landing Gordon Hayward was the best thing that could have happened to this franchise last offseason and moving forward, they now have everything they need to start building themselves into a contender in the Eastern Conference.

However, with plenty of cap space to play around in free agency and the need for some key frontcourt talent, the Hornets will be looking to make some moves to ensure success during the 2021-22 season. They will be a team to watch in NBA rumors.

Not to mention, Devonte’ Graham and Malik Monk are set to become free agents, so Charlotte could look to allocate some of their available funds to bringing back some of the young core pieces of their roster.
