Madison Square Garden finally saw NBA playoff basketball being played in it for the first time since 2013 on Sunday night and that place was rocking! 15,047 fans packed MSG for the first-time in what felt like forever and the energy during Game 1 between the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks was electric.
The fans were excellent in this game, but the game itself was even better, as it went down to the final possession! In the final few minutes of Game 1 between the Hawks and the Knicks, both teams kept trading baskets, but it was Trae Young with 0.7 seconds left that gave the Hawks the victory.

With Game 2 scheduled for Wednesday night, we can expect yet another sold out crowd in MSG as the Knicks look to fight their way back in this series. Overall, they did not play badly in this game, as they suffered an unfortunate loss right before the buzzer, but there are some things they need to fix moving forward in this series.
