The Hawks take down the Knicks in 6 games

The story of the Knicks this season has been quite remarkable and it is hard to root against them given all of their failures over the years, but I think you have to give a slight edge to Atlanta in this series. The Knicks did sweep them 3-0 during the regular season, but the Hawks have improved since the last time these two teams met in April.

Trae Young has been averaging 20+ PPG and 10+ APG over the last few weeks, Bogdan Bogdanovic has been a threat to score 20+ points on any given night and with Clint Capela being a real 20 point and 20 rebound threat on any night, they have a bunch of ways to be able to win games.

The Knicks have had their number this season and have been one of the best defensive teams in the league, but the Hawks have way too many weapons on offense that I believe they will be able to pick apart the Knicks defense, especially in a 7-game series.

It is a very slight edge and this series may very well go to a Game 7, but I think the Hawks need to be narrowly favored 55-45 in this series against the Knicks. They have improved defensively and with all of the scoring depth they have, New York may not be able to keep up offensively.
