Donovan Mitchell – Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz have been one of the most dominant teams in the NBA all season long and Donovan Mitchell has been a big part of their success. He just hasn’t been much of a part in that in the last few weeks due to an ankle injury.
Donovan Mitchell has been sidelined since April 16 after suffering a scary looking ankle sprain. It’s great he isn’t going to be out for the rest of the season, especially with how serious it initially had looked.
Now, Donovan Mitchell has missed Utah’s last 13 games and he will likely miss at least their next two games against the Warriors and the Blazers. The Jazz may elect to keep their young star sidelined until the postseason, but in order for this team to be a real contender, they will need him on the court.

Utah has won 8 of their 13 games without Donovan Mitchell over the last month or so, but he is their main scorer and facilitator and without him, this Jazz team will not be able to take down some of the better teams in the Western Conference.
In their final two games of the regular season, the Jazz take on the Thunder and the Kings, so Utah may look to give Donovan Mitchell a handful of minutes in those games to get up to speed ahead of the playoffs, but they could also elect to keep him out and just have him practice before they enter the postseason.
