LeBron James – Los Angeles Lakers
You cannot talk about injuries in the NBA this season without talking about the Los Angeles Lakers because both Anthony Davis and LeBron James have missed a significant amount of time this year due to injuries. Davis missed nearly two months with a calf injury until returning, but LeBron James only missed a month, but when he returned to action, his ankle was still giving him problems.
James returned to action on April 30 against the Kings, after being out since March 20 with a high ankle sprain, and then played against the Raptors on May 2, but he left that game early and has missed the Lakers’ last four games with ankle problems.

Now, with four games left, there is some speculation that LeBron James could return to the court for the Lakers’ Tuesday night game against the New York Knicks, but he will likely go through a pre-game routine before being ruled eligible or out.
Whether or not he returns to the court ahead of the regular season finale for the Lakers, LeBron James’ health is definitely going to be a big concern for the Lakers moving forward. Ankle injuries are hard to recover from quickly and are never 100% during a season, so James could return again and then re-injure his hurt ankle.
The Lakers need LeBron back if they are to have a shot at winning in the playoffs, but who knows how healthy their leader will be.
