Stephen Curry will likely win his second scoring title of his career

All season long, Bradley Beal has been amongst the league leaders in scoring, as he is currently averaging 31.4 PPG, but a guy named Stephen Curry in the Western Conference has been putting together performances like we have never seen before.

Curry has arguably had the best second-half of a season we have ever seen and as a result, he has overtaken Bradley Beal in the race for the scoring title, as Curry is averaging 31.9 PPG. Stephen Curry has now scored 59 more points than Bradley Beal, which is why the scoring title is almost locked up at this point for the Warriors’ guard.

Beal being out does not give him any more opportunities to potentially catch up to Stephen Curry, which is why Curry will likely wind up winning the 2020-21 NBA Scoring Title, his second scoring title of his career.

Hamstring injuries are not to be played around with and for the Wizards, they cannot afford to lose Beal for the play-in tournament, or potentially part of next season. They will be cautious with their approach with their All-Star guard and as a result, it is a very real possibility that he does not play until the final game of the season, should they need him to lock up their play-in position.

Bradley Beal has had a tremendous season, but winning his first scoring title will have to wait since he is currently out with a hamstring injury. There is not enough time left in the season to try and catch up to Stephen Curry, especially when Beal is not at 100%.
