LeBron James is still dealing with ankle issues
Injuries have crippled the Lakers’ chances for success all season long and right now, LeBron James’ ankle is a major concern. Given how tightly compacted the NBA season is this year and really no time to rest, who knows if LeBron James was 100% healthy or not when he returned after his month long hiatus due to the high ankle sprain he suffered in late-March.
Whether his ankle was just sore against the Raptors or whether or not he tweaked something again, LeBron James’ ankle is a major concern for the Lakers heading into the postseason because without him, they have no chance to repeat as champions.
Not only do they have no shot to repeat as champions, but since he’s continued to struggle to stay healthy, the Lakers could be facing a “one-and-done” showdown in the play-in tournament! If it were to start right now, Los Angeles would be facing Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
The number one concern of Lakers’ fans and the Lakers’ organization right now has to be the health of LeBron James and while he is going to do everything he can to be on the court, ankle injuries are tough to play through.
