Does this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
Indiana was one of the biggest threats to sign Gordon Hayward last season before the Hornets made a strong push for the veteran forward. He ultimately chose Charlotte, but Indiana still seems to think of Hayward highly, which is why they could pursue him in the offseason.
NBA trade rumors have been circulating around Myles Turner and the Indiana Pacers for over a year now and while they have shot down all rumors that they are actively looking to move him, Myles Turner was a name that came up a lot at the trade deadline in connection with the Hornets.
Indiana really likes Gordon Hayward and the Hornets really like Myles Turner, so it seems like something could potentially be worked out trade wise for both teams in the offseason. This trade definitely makes sense for the Pacers, especially since they need to figure out ways to win.
T.J. Warren went down a couple games into the season with a foot injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the year and with Domantas Sabonis having the ability to play the center position, the Pacers could easily roll out a lineup consisting of Warren, Hayward and Sabonis all on the court at the same time next season.

Not to mention, Indiana would still have Malcolm Brogdon, who is having one of the best years of his career statistically speaking. Giving up Turner and Lamb to finally get Gordon Hayward would definitely be a potential move the Pacers would be interested in making, but would the Hornets be willing to trade Hayward after one season?
