Can the LA Clippers compete down low?

It was a huge blow to the lineup when Montrezl Harrell decided to go across town in NBA free agency. This left the LA Clippers a bit weak in the frontcourt but they countered it by signing Serge Ibaka in the offseason. This has been a welcomed addition but Clippers still lack a bit of depth.

There are many talented frontcourts in the Western Conference. Harrell and Anthony Davis come to mind immediately while Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz is consistently one of the best big men in the league. This is just to name a few.

Los Angeles will have to show strength and toughness over the course of the playoffs and not back down from bigger opponents. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George can only do so much out on the perimeter and the big man will have to hold their own in the post.

This is an area to keep an eye on what’s the playoffs begin. It is unknown if the Clippers will attempt to improve the unit in the offseason but for now, they will have to roll with what they have.
