You really are not going to find a better offensive duo in the backcourt

When you look at the Washington Wizards total stats from this season and look at the production that Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal have given the Wizards, it is really hard to say that they are not one of the best duos in the entire league.

They account for about 46.1% of their team’s total scoring output per game, they make close to 46% of their team’s total shots per game and both Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal are two of the most dominant players in the league right now.

Westbrook is a triple-double machine and Beal is arguably the best pure scorer in the league, so why would the Wizards want to break this up? Well, they really don’t, as their long-term plan is to keep both Westbrook and Beal, but they need to be able to surround these guys with viable weapons.

At the end of the day, superstars in this league want to win and have a chance to win a title and right now, the Wizards are not close to being championship contenders. This offseason will be critical for them to add another high-level talent to their roster because if they don’t, then Beal and/or Westbrook could eventually want out of Washington due to their lack of overall success.
