#2 Tom Thibodeau – New York Knicks
Everywhere he has gone as a head coach in this league, Tom Thibodeau has found a ton of success, yet he is still one of the most underappreciated head coaches in the league. With the Bulls from 2010-2015, Thibodeau posted a 255-139 record, taking Chicago to the playoffs all of the years he was the head coach, including a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2011 when they posted a 62-20 record on the year.
After being relieved of his duties in Chicago, Thibodeau went to Minnesota and took them to the playoffs for the first-time since 2004 during the 2017-18 season. Thibs went 97-107 as the head coach in Minnesota and was relieved of his duties there as well, even though he was arguably their best coach they have ever had since Flip Saunders.
Thibodeau did not coach last year, but after the Knicks brought in Leon Rose to be their President of Basketball Operations, he and GM Scott Perry quickly were able to get Tom Thibodeau to agree to be the head coach of the Knicks and the rest is history!
The Knicks are having their best season since the 2012-13 season when they went to the Eastern Conference Semifinals and actually have a winning record for the first time since then as well! The job Thibodeau has done in his first season with the Knicks is quite remarkable, not just record wise, but because they are arguably the best defensive team in the league.

I am not sure if anybody saw this coming from the Knicks this year, but they are going to be an extremely tough team to beat in the postseason in a seven game series! Tom Thibodeau has his team fighting for 48 minutes each and every game, which is why the New York Knicks are finally back!
