Why Kyle Lowry should consider joining Miami Heat in free agency

Perhaps the biggest reason Kyle Lowry could potentially leave the Toronto Raptors is to have a chance to win another title. When looking at the Raptors roster, it seems like this team is going to take a step back and try to plan out their path to future championships, which means Lowry likely will not have another chance to win a title in Toronto.

If he truly wants to have a chance to win another championship, the Philadelphia 76ers seem like the prime destination for Lowry, but the Miami Heat just made the NBA Finals last year and seem to be just one piece away from being one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.

Kyle Lowry can be that missing piece for them because of everything he does on the court. He may not be having his best season statistically this year, but when he has been healthy, Kyle Lowry has been really effective for the Toronto Raptors not just as a floor general and facilitator, but as a primary scoring option and terrific one-on-one defender.

With Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo being the two All-Star talents on this roster and other key role players around them, the Miami Heat are not far away from being true championship threats, which is why this offseason will be extremely important to them.

Whether it is going after Kyle Lowry or pursuing someone else, Lowry should definitely consider joining the Miami Heat in NBA free agency given the opportunity that they can present to him not only to be one of their leaders, but to potentially win a second championship.
