Reason #2: Bradley Beal wants to win the scoring title
Last year, Bradley Beal did not receive the recognition he deserved since the Wizards were such a terrible team and this year, while they have still struggled, Beal is finally starting to get noticed as being one of the best pure scorers in the league.
In 52 games this year, Bradley Beal has averaged 31.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and has shot 48.6% from the floor. The All-Star guard has been having yet another terrific season and is currently in a fight for this year’s scoring title with Stephen Curry.
Curry was averaging 0.1 more points per game than Beal on the season before his underwhelming performance against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. scored 52 more total points than Beal this season. However, Beal does lead the league in 30+ point games this season with 32 games of 30+ points.

All season long, Bradley Beal has been the Wizards best offensive weapon and with him continuing to be a dynamic scorer, the Wizards have a real shot to make a late playoff push. Between his and Russell Westbrook’s production, Washington will have to rely on their two superstars down the stretch-run of the season.
