#1 Injuries/Team Chemistry
The 76ers and Knicks are definitely two of the biggest challengers for Brooklyn Nets come playoff time, but the Nets’ biggest roadblock that stands in their way of winning a championship are injuries and their team chemistry.
Fully healthy, the Nets have arguably the best roster in the NBA with their superstar trio in Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving, but these guys have barely played together. This could definitely spiral into a major concern in the postseason, especially since their whole team chemistry could be off as a result.
James Harden has been out since April 5th with a hamstring injury and the Nets announced a week ago that he is out indefinitely right now. Kevin Durant has dealt with some injuries on and off this year and seems to be finally healthy now and the same can be said for Kyrie Irving, who has missed some games on and off this season as he dealt with some personal issues.

Now, these are three of the top players in the NBA, so their chemistry with one another should not be a major concern, but their chemistry with some of the other talents on this Nets’ roster is definitely a cause for concern.
Guys like Joe Harris, Bruce Brown, Landry Shamet and Jeff Green have all seen their roles flip-flop this season and if they have to change their roles again in the playoffs, this could definitely be a concern for the Nets. Durant, Irving and Harden probably could score over 100 points combined every game if they wanted, but the Nets’ depth will have to step up in big moments in the playoffs for them to potentially win a championship.
Not only will this team need to be on the same page, but they will all need to be healthy! Brooklyn has barely played any games at full strength this season, and if they continue to deal with injuries come playoff time, then they could wind up failing to reach their ultimate goal this year of winning a championship.
