#2 Philadelphia 76ers

Next to the Brooklyn Nets, the Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference all season long. Led by MVP-candidate Joel Embiid, the 76ers are not just a dynamic scoring team, but they are also one of the better defensive teams in the league.

Philly currently ranks 3rd in net defensive rating this season and they have won 2 of the three regular season games they have played against the Brooklyn Nets this season!

Ben Simmons is a legit Defensive Player of the Year candidate and with Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris being this team’s main two scoring options, they have their best chance to win a title since they were last in the NBA Finals in 2001.

Embiid has dealt with injuries on and off this season, resulting in him only playing in 41 games to this point in the year, but with key secondary talents in Seth Curry, Danny Green, Shake Milton and Dwight Howard, the 76ers have the firepower to be able to beat any team in this league in a playoff series.

With the Nets and the 76ers being the two top teams in the Eastern Conference all season long, it seems like we are destined for a 7-game, Eastern Conference Finals series between these two, which should make for a very intriguing and fun series to watch as a fan of the NBA!
