New York basketball is back and we are not talking about the Brooklyn Nets! The New York Knicks have been one of the better teams in the NBA all season long because of how good they are defensively. 

They are currently giving up the least amount of points per game to their opponents and they rank 4th in the league in net defensive rating. When you play the Knicks, you better be ready for a “street fight” for 48-minutes because these guys bring it each and every night. 

Up-and-down their roster, the New York Knicks have guys that are not only experienced, but play physical and tough, which is why a playoff series against these guys is going to be extremely difficult and daunting.

Do the Nets have more talent than the Knicks? Absolutely, but the question that remains is whether or not they overlook the Knicks and let their guard down because if they do, New York could easily take control of a series against Brooklyn. 

The Knicks are going to be a scary team for anybody to play in the playoffs and with them being on a 9-game win streak right now, they are a team that nobody wants any part of right now.
