Ranking top potential challengers to Brooklyn Nets in NBA playoffs

Entering the 2020-21 NBA season, the Brooklyn Nets were already projected to be a championship contender with a healthy Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but after trading for James Harden mid-season, they have seemed to be one of the heavy favorites to win it all ever since. 

Since they made the trade for Harden, the Nets are 33-14 and they have led the league in points per game offensively. Overall, this Nets team has three of the most dynamic scorers in the league today, which is why they are such a heavy favorite to win it all.

Not only do they have Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden, but the Brooklyn Nets also have Joe Harris, who is one of the better three-point shooters in the entire league, Blake Griffin, who is a former All-Star forward, DeAndre Jordan, who is a bruiser in the paint, and other key role players like Bruce Brown, Landry Shamet and veteran forward Jeff Green. 

From All-Star, superstar talents to veteran and experienced players, this year’s Nets team has everything they need to win a championship, but will they be able to withstand the tough journey that awaits them in the playoffs?
