Outcome #3: Cade Cunningham does not go first overall

It seems like whatever NBA mock draft you look at or whoever you talk to, Cade Cunningham seems to be the No. 1 rated prospect in the 2021 NBA Draft class, but what happens if he does not go first overall in the draft? 

Depending on who is picking first overall this year, Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs and Jalen Green are all prospects who one can make a legit case for to be the first player selected in the 2021 NBA Draft, which is why there’s a slim possibility that Cunningham could fall out of the #1 overall slot.

If this happens, then almost every team will be on the phone with whoever is drafting second overall in this 2021 NBA Draft to try and get the dynamic point guard. Who knows, maybe whoever is drafting second overall winds up keeping the pick and they change their franchise’s future by taking Cunningham! 

All five of the top prospects in the 2021 NBA Draft class are elite compared to the rest of the field and all of them have a ton of potential to grow into All-Stars in the NBA, but if Cunningham falls out of the top spot in the 2021 NBA Draft, then a lot could occur in terms of trades and big names being on the move.
