Corey Kispert

Corey Kispert enters the 2021 NBA Draft as arguably the best shooter in the bunch. He has an extremely quick release and his jump shot has very little wasted motion. Kispert was a three-year starter for one of the best programs in the nation in Gonzaga. He was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year while leading the Bulldogs to within one game of a perfect season.

Kispert averaged 18.6 points per game while shooting 44% from three-point range. His numbers improved in all four years at Gonzaga. He comes from a winning culture and this is something that cannot be discredited. Is Kispert the best athlete in the 2021 NBA Daft? No but his intelligence for the game and work ethic is unmatched.

He is without a doubt one of the smartest players in the 2021 NBA Draft and that is valuable. The Pelicans traded JJ Redick to Dallas and could be looking for another sharpshooter. Corey Kispert is that and more. At 6-foot-7, he can get to the basket and finish with contact.

With Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson being mid-range players that thrive in the lane, Corey Kispert would be able to spread the floor and open some room. He would give the Pelicans an option on the perimeter. Kispert has a chance to turn into an elite shooter in the league right away.
