Johnny Juzang

Johnny Juzang has officially declared for the draft but he did not hire an agent. This will quickly change once rumors begin spreading about how he could be a potential lottery pick. Juzang played himself into the first round during the NCAA Tournament and potentially even higher. He averaged 22.8 points in six tournament games while leading UCLA to the Final Four. Juzang returned home to the Bruins after spending his freshman year at Kentucky.

We have seen players make their way into the first round based on their tournament performance. Just look at what Donte DiVincenzo did for Villanova during their title run in 2018. Johnny Juzang is no different. He showed up on the biggest stage and dominated some of the best teams in the nation. Juzang showed great leadership for the Bruins during their run.

Throughout the regular season, he was not mentioned in the first round of mocks. This is why he has decided to play it safe and not hire an agent at this moment. This means he is still eligible to pull his name out and return to UCLA if he is not satisfied with his draft position.

Being selected by the Spurs in the first round is something that could be in the future for Johnny Juzang. The 6-foot-6 guard would give San Antonio another young backcourt member for the future.
