Ranking the 3 best fits for Raptors in 2021 NBA Draft

The Toronto Raptors are used to being contenders in the Eastern Conference. To this point of the NBA season, they are not playing like the playoff team of years past. They are currently 25-34 on the year and 12th in a weak conference.

The Raptors have had their sights on the offseason for weeks now once they have fallen behind in the standings. They have a chance to land a top-10 pick to add to the lineup.

The Raptors are not the championship team they were two years ago. In the offseason, they signed Fred VanVleet to be their cornerstone player along with Pascal Siakam.

Toronto could end up Kyle Lowry this offseason. They were unable to move him at the NBA trade deadline but it is unlikely that he re-signs in NBA free agency. Toronto is a franchise that is heading in a different direction and this draft pick will go a long way in their quick rebuild.

Toronto lost some key pieces last offseason in Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka. This left the frontcourt a bit thin and the Raptors missed out on other options last year.

Masai Ujiri cannot miss this pick. It is important to nail draft picks when a team is looking to retool quickly. These three players could be available when Toronto is on the clock.
