Russell Westbrook – Washington Wizards
Triple-Double Russ is back this season and Westbrook has been putting up video game like numbers all season long! Earlier on in the season, Russell Westbrook set yet another NBA record due to the insane performance he has against the Indiana Pacers.
In that game, Russell Westbrook had 35 points, 14 rebounds and 21 assists, not only giving him his 16th triple-double of the season at that point, but setting a new NBA record.
Westbrook became the third player to ever have a 30-point, 20-assist game, joining the likes of Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson, and his performance was the first 35/20/10 game in NBA history.
Russell Westbrook currently leads the league in triple-doubles yet again with 26 triple doubles in 50 games to this point in the season and is averaging a triple-double for the season for the fourth time in his career.
Between Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, these two guys are single-handedly carrying the Wizards to a potential playoff berth and as long as he continues to play at this insanely high level, Russ will not only keep the Wizards in the playoff hunt, but he will earn himself All-NBA honors for the 10th time in his career, adding onto his Hall-of-Fame resume.
