Boston Celtics
It seems like a real long-shot for the Celtics to be able to acquire Jerami Grant, but making this trade with Boston is probably one of the better trade packages the Pistons can receive in return in terms of potential.
If Boston is going to have any chance of getting Jerami Grant, they would likely have to offer up a couple of guys like Marcus Smart, Payton Pritchard and Romeo Langford, as well as a few first-round picks. However, the Celtics could potentially put together an even better package should they make Kemba Walker available in trade talks.
The Celtics have been searching for ways to win another championship over the years and they have brought in some big-time All-Star talents to their roster in attempts to do so. Kemba Walker was the latest All-Star to join this organization last year andi f they come up short of their ultimate goals again, the Celtics could very much look to trade him.
What this deal with the Celtics comes down to for the Pistons is whether or not they view Jerami Grant as more valuable than Kemba Walker. If the answer is “yes,” then it should be very simple for the Pistons to turn this offer down from the Celtics, but they could definitely get some value out of this deal.

Whether it is Kemba Walker or Marcus Smart and a bunch of other young talents in draft picks, the Celtics are definitely a viable trade partner for the Detroit Pistons should they entertain the idea of trading Jerami Grant. The only question though is whether or not they can get equal value or better value than Grant.
