Devonte’ Graham – Charlotte Hornets
Another high-level, young talent that not a lot of people are talking about in terms of pending NBA free agency is Devonte’ Graham. Like Gary Trent Jr. and Lonzo Ball, Devonte’ Graham will also be a restricted free agent, giving the Charlotte Hornets a chance to match any offer sheets he may sign in free agency, but Graham should be a highly sought after guard.
He was in the running for Most Improved Player last season, ultimately losing to Brandon Ingram, but Graham is one of the better perimeter players set to become a free agent this offseason. Over the last two seasons, he has shot an average of 37.4% from three-point range on just less than 9 attempts per game on average.
Not to mention, Devonte’ Graham has no problem being a team’s main ball-handler and facilitator, as he has averaged 6.5 assists per game over the last two seasons, including an assist-to-turnover ratio of just under 3:1 over the course of his career.
Devonte’ Graham is not going to draw the type of attention that Lonzo Ball gets and should the Pelicans wind up losing Ball in NBA free agency, getting a guy like Graham and paying him $5M-$7M less per season could be very well worthwhile for this franchise.

He can be this team’s primary ball-handler and can be one of their better three-point shooting threats, which is why Devonte’ Graham should definitely be on the Pelicans’ list of free agent targets this offseason.
