3 players the Pelicans could pursue to add more shooting

While this NBA season has been slightly disappointing for the New Orleans Pelicans, as they currently find themselves in 11th place in the Western Conference and fighting for a chance to earn a play-in game spot in the playoffs this season, the future is very bright for this organization.

Brandon Ingram has continued to prove that he is an All-Star caliber player, even though he was left off of the roster this season, but Zion Williamson has elevated himself to being a superstar in this league. It is just a matter of time before Zion is considered the best player in the entire league because he is virtually impossible to stop.

If you put a smaller guard/wing on him, then he will back them down in the paint and if you put a big man on him, Zion Willamson ust puts his head down and bulldozes his way to the rim. When teams have doubled him this year, he either is able to use his strength to break through the double-team or he has been able to kick the ball out for a wide-open three for one of his teammates.

There is just now way to stop Zion Williamson and as a result, the Pelicans are in a great place as an organization whether or not they make the playoffs. However, this offseason will be very important for them not only because Lonzo Ball is a restricted free agent, but because they need to add more perimeter shooting threats to their roster. How they address this will be something to monitor in NBA rumors.

So who can the Pels add in the offseason to improve their team three-point shooting percentage? Let’s take a look at three players New Orleans can pursue this offseason.
