No. 3 Jayson Tatum – Boston Celtics
While the Celtics have struggled to reach the NBA Finals over the years, making the Eastern Conference Finals three times in the last four seasons, Jayson Tatum has been sensational for them and continues to grow into one of the top players in the entire league.
Entering this season, Jayson Tatum was expected to take an even bigger leap in his career than he made last season and he did so. This season, Tatum is averaging 26.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and is shooting 46.2% from the floor, 38.8% from three-point range.
While Tatum is not the best defender on the Celtics and does not draw many fouls, he is still an elite-level offensive talent and will only continue to get better. Everything offensively for the Celtics goes through Jayson Tatum and whenever they need a big shot, he is always the one to take it.

Not only has the 23-year-old forward been on-fire this season since the All-Star break, but it just seems like Tatum cannot miss right now. It still seems like a stretch to say that the Celtics are championship contenders, especially since they have struggled all season long with consistency, but Jayson Tatum will definitely keep them in the conversation.
The Celtics have one of the top, young players in the entire league in Jayson Tatum and with another young star in Jaylen Brown, they have two great pieces to potentially turn themselves into a championship contender.
