This Mavs-Wizards offseason trade is focused on Bradley Beal

The Washington Wizards have had the best scorer in the NBA for the past couple years. Bradley Beal continues to prove that he is an elite offensive player but cannot shine on the biggest stage because of the team he is on. We could see the Wizards finally make the blockbuster deal to send their superstar out of town.

If Beal is truly on the trading block, the Dallas Mavericks could be a team that is interested. Mark Cuban is an owner that is used to big-splash moves and this could be another one on the horizon.

Dallas has been attempting to build around Luka Doncic, it was quickly turned into one of the best players in the league. They made a deal with the New York Knicks to acquire Kristaps Porzingis last year, but he has struggle to stay on the floor.

The front office could look in another direction for a more consistent player and one that could complement Luka Doncic in the backcourt.

For Washington, this could be about sending the franchise in a new direction. Beal has been with the Wizards his entire career and has shown great loyalty to the franchise.

Beal shut down all NBA trade rumors at the deadline but they could resurface come the offseason. Washington finally pulled the trigger and traded John Wall at the beginning of the season and Beal could be next. This would send the front office in a complete rebuilt from the bottom up.

This is something that would benefit the Wizards as they look to return to relevant in the Eastern Conference. Here is what a potential deal might look like between the two sides once a year is complete.
