Andre Drummond

Andre Drummond was one of the targets that Charlotte was aggressively pursuing at the NBA trade deadline. They were unable to agree to a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers and this led to Drummond being bought out.

He ultimately agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers but will be a free agent following the season. At 27 years old, Andre Drummond will be a hot commodity once the offseason comes around.

In Los Angeles, Andre Drummond has played just five games. He is averaging 9.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. He was extremely productive in Cleveland where he put up 17.5 points and 13.5 rebounds a night. Drummond is still one of the elite big men in the league.

When looking at the free agents this summer, Andre Drummond is one of the top centers available, along with Jarrett Allen and Serge Ibaka. The Hornets have already been linked to Drummond at the deadline so it is easy to see them continuing their pursuit on the open market.

Andre Drummond is a proven name that would bring some more star power to Charlotte. He would be able to act as a leader on and off the floor for a team looking to take that next step in the East.
