Why This Trade Would Benefit The New York Knicks

The Knicks finally made the right decision and brought Thibodeau into be the head coach. The move has made immediate improvements on the defensive end of the floor.

It is finally looking like the Knicks are putting together a solid group of role players to where they can compete in the Eastern Conference. They are still one piece of way and the addition of Fox would kill two birds with one stone.

The Knicks were not aggressive at the NBA trade deadline in their pursuit of a star. This is something the front office knows they need and have missed out on plenty of opportunities over the years. New York also needs a point guard. This has turned into the most important position on the floor and the Knicks have not had one for quite some time.

De’Aaron Fox is an NBA All-Star caliber point guard that can come in and immediately improve the next. Immanuel Quickley has turned into a fan favorite, but let’s be real, he is no Fox.
