This Cavs-Hawks offseason trade gives Cam Reddish a fresh start

In certain situations, there is a time where a player could just use a fresh start on a different team. That time might be coming for Cam Reddish and the Atlanta Hawks. The former 10th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft could be on the trading block in the offseason and will have plenty of interest.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team that could be in the market. The NBA is a league led by its point guard play and the Cavs have a good one in Collin Sexton. He has emerged as a threat at all three levels.

Darius Garland joins Sexton in the backcourt and this gives the Cavs a duo to rely on. If Cleveland were to add a prospect like Reddish, it would continue to grow the lineup and add depth.

Atlanta is another team led by their point guard. Trae Young is having another strong season and is proving to be the real deal. He is scoring 11.2 points per game while shooting just 26.2% from the three-point line.

The Hawks are in danger of losing John Collins in free agency and could be looking to make up for it in different ways. If Reddish is on the trading block, they could ask for a bit of a return and this would help immediately.

Atlanta and Cleveland are two teams that could be working towards competing if they push the right buttons. Here is what a potential deal between the two sides might look like in the offseason.
