One weakness that could hold back each top NBA title contender

With the 2020-21 NBA regular season coming down to its final month of play, all of our attention will begin to shift towards the playoffs and which teams truly do have a chance to win a championship this year.

Hypothetically, 20 teams will “have a shot” to win this year’s title due to 10 teams in each conference technically making the playoffs, including the play-in tournament, but realistically, there are just a handful of teams that have true championship aspirations.

Looking at the Eastern Conference, you have the 76ers, the Nets, the Bucks and then there is everybody else. The Sixers have been dominant all year long, as Joel Embiid has looked like this year’s MVP when he has been healthy, the Nets have arguably the greatest trio in terms of pure talent in NBA history and the Milwaukee Bucks have the 2x reigning league MVP in Giannis Antetokounmpo leading their charge.

In the Western Conference, not only do you have the Utah Jazz, who have led the Western Conference standings all season long, but you have the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and a couple of other teams who all have a real chance to make the NBA Finals this year.
