Philadelphia 76ers

Much like the Heat and the Bucks, the Philadelphia 76ers have an open roster spot and they have a really good chance to make a run at the NBA Finals this season. So why not go after a veteran guy like Joe Johnson and add him to your roster as the 15th man?

Given all of the players the 76ers have that already contribute, Joe Johnson would be nothing more than a veteran presence and bench player on this team, but he has been in big situations throughout his career before and could be yet another key veteran player on this roster to help them off the court in the locker room.

Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris all have a lot of experience in this league together, but overall, they do not have much playoff experience. Danny Green and Dwight Howard are the veteran leaders of this team and the only two players on this roster that have won a championship before, which is why adding Joe Johnson could make sense.

He has been to the playoffs before and has been a key, All-Star talent throughout his career and while he may not be a high-level contributor anymore, he still has valuable experiences that could help a younger team like the 76ers.

His presence could definitely mean a lot to guys like Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid and having that extra veteran voice in the locker room and on the sidelines could definitely make a positive impact on the 76ers chances of winning it all this year.
