Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks have a workout schedule with Joe Johnson later this week and if they were not interested in the veteran wing, then they would not have scheduled this workout! Of course the Milwaukee Bucks are interested in Joe Johnson and why not?

He has playoff experience, he is a former 7x All-Star and for a team that is trying to break through and finally make the NBA Finals, Joe Johnson could definitely make an impact on and off the court for the Milwaukee Bucks.

On their roster, about half of their team has playoff experience and they are a relatively young team when it comes to the playoffs. Adding Johnson to this team not only gives them another veteran voice in the locker room, but someone that can easily play 10 minutes per game and knock down a big shot or two for the Bucks.

Not to mention, reuniting with his former teammate Brook Lopez would definitely be something that NBA fans would love to see. Lopez and Johnson were a force together in Brooklyn for a couple of seasons and reuniting in Milwaukee for a championship run would make their journey full-circle.

The Bucks have an open roster spot, they are interested in Joe Johnson, so giving him a shot and signing him to a veteran’s minimum contract for the rest of the season would make a ton of sense.
