Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are an organization that is always looking to bring in championship-caliber, high-level talents to help them potentially hang more banners in AmericanAirlines Arena. Pat Riley has been around the game for decades now and if there is one thing we know, it is that he will definitely be interested in Joe Johnson if the veteran performs well in his workout.
After having a disappointing first-half of the season, the Miami Heat have completely turned things around and are once again considered one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. After recently acquiring Victor Oladipo at the trade deadline, the Heat definitely have a shot to make it back to the NBA Finals for the second consecutive season, but there are concerns and question marks about Oladipo’s health.
Nothing has been said about the severity of Oladipo’s knee injury, but in a recent game against the Lakers, Victor Oladipo was in a lot of discomfort and grabbing at his right knee after jumping up for a dunk. After throwing down the two-handed dunk, Oladipo was limping up the court and was in pain going to Miami’s locker room.

Since then, no word has been said about the severity of the injury or if Oladipo will be good to go for the Miami Heat as they begin their charge for the playoffs, which is why the Heat could be a team that becomes interested in Joe Johnson.
He would not join any team and immediately become a key role player for them, but he is an experienced veteran that is more than capable of contributing should his number be called. Miami does have an open roster spot and if Oladipo is unable to return for the Heat this season, adding an experienced veteran with playoff experience like Joe Johnson could go a long way for a younger team like the Heat.
