Does this trade make sense for the New York Knicks?
For years now, the Knicks have been looking to get high-level talents and finally put together a winning season and this year, they not only have high-level talents in Randle and Barrett, but they have a chance to put together their first winning season since the 2012-2013 season.
With Randle and Barrett playing at high-levels, the Knicks seem like they are a couple of pieces away from being true threats in the Eastern Conference, which is why going out and trading for Andrew Wiggins makes a lot of sense.
While he is not the most talented player on the wing that the Knicks could pursue this offseason, he is definitely very valuable given how he can play at a high-level on both ends of the court. The Knicks are a very defensive-oriented basketball team and the best quality of Wiggins game is the fact that he is a terrific and under-valued two-way wing.

This season, Andrew Wiggins is arguably the Warriors best one-on-one defender, which is saying something since Draymond Green is still one of the top defensive players in the entire league. Adding this kind of player on the wing could be huge for the Knicks, especially since they are still a young team that is growing.
Wiggins himself is only 26-years-old and could be a key part of the Knicks rotation for years to come next to the likes of Julius Randle and R.J. Barrett.
