3 offseason trade targets for Warriors involving James Wiseman

Pascal Siakam – Toronto Raptors

Now this would definitely be a trade that would shake things up in the league! The Warriors coming out of nowhere to strike a deal with the team that just beat them in the 2019 NBA Finals for one of their key players that destroyed Golden State in that series!

This would be a monster deal to be made in the league, but again, it seems very far-fetched to believe that the Raptors would entertain the idea of trading Pascal Siakam. However, they will likely be going through some kind of a rebuild in the offseason with no Norman Powell and the pending free agency of Kyle Lowry.

Adding an already proven All-Star talent in Pascal Siakam to their frontcourt gives the Warriors everything they need to be a force in the Western Conference again, especially with Klay Thompson expected to be healthy, hopefully, to begin the 2021-22 season.

Curry and Green have looked great this season and have shown no signs of slowing down, but the Warriors’ front-office definitely has to be looking long-term at their current core’s ages. They are all in their 30’s now and with not many years left to capitalize on their championship quest, the Warriors could be very willing to go “all-in” on winning now.

If they are, then trading away Wiseman in a deal for Pascal Siakam could make a lot of sense to help them possibly contend for a championship during the 2021-22 season and possibly more! However, long-term, Wiseman has the capability to turn into a sensational all-around center, which is why the Warriors would want a guy like Pascal Siakam in return for Wiseman.

The only way the Warriors trade James Wiseman this offseason is if they strike a deal with another team for one of their top All-Star caliber players. Other than a top player in the league, the Warriors will be unwilling to negotiate a deal around Wiseman.
