Karl-Anthony Towns – Minnesota Timberwolves

If the Warriors are to go after Karl-Anthony Towns, not only will they have to be ready to pay even more luxury taxes than they already do, but they will have to be prepared to give up a ton of assets in return. KAT is just 25-years-old and with him already being one of the most dominant players in the league, his value is as high as almost any other player in this league.

He can not only be a building block for any team in this league over the next few years, but for a team like the Warriors, who have three All-Star caliber players in Curry, Thompson and Green, adding Karl-Anthony Towns to the equation can immediately elevate them back into title contention in the Western Conference.

This is a team that still has championship pedigree and aspirations, but they are going to need everybody on their roster healthy and they are going to need another high-level contributor. Both Wiggins and Wiseman have the capability to be high-level talents in this league for a long-time, but do the Warriors have time to wait around at this point?

Karl-Anthony Towns can not only be the All-Star player the Warriors need to win another title, but he could become the focal point of this Warriors team for many years to come.

Karl-Anthony Towns is going to be in the league for at least the next decade, assuming he does not sustain any major injuries, and could eventually become the best player on the Warriors and somebody they can build around as Thompson, Curry and Green enter the back-half of their careers.
