The New York Knicks have been in need of an NBA star presence for quite sometime now. Despite strong seasons of Julius Randle and RJ Barrett, the Knicks like that presents that could take them to the next level. This is something they did not look for the deadline and could wait until the offseason to make a big move.
The Knick should look to the Detroit Pistons. This is something they have done before and can do once again once the season is complete. They are one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference and that means Jeremi Grant could be on the move. He is having the best statistical season of his career and the Pistons could look to take advantage of his value to this point.
Once the regular season is complete, teams that did not make the postseason will begin to look at potential deals. Here is one that could happen between two sides looking to head in the right direction.
