The Washington Wizards are certainly in a position to make another big-splash move in the NBA offseason. They sent John Wall to the Houston Rockets and Bradley Beal could be next on the list. If Beal is on the trade market, the Charlotte Hornets should take a look.
Charlotte is already loaded in the backcourt but they can move some of their depth in order to land a superstar like Beal. LaMelo Ball was looking like the Rookie of the Year before suffering a fractured wrist that will force him to miss the rest of season.
Both Terry Rozier and Devonte’ Graham have been featured in trade rumors since the offseason. Gordon Hayward was the big free-agent signing and looking like the real deal so far.
In Washington, the season has not gone as well. The Wizards are once again one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference and this is despite having a strong duo leading the way. Russell Westbrook was the return in that Wall deal with the Rockets.
The duo of Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal is exciting on paper but it has not led to team success. Beal has been a part of the Wizards’ franchise since the day he was drafted and it could be time for him to move on.
The Hornets would be an interesting landing spot for Beal. Let’s take a look at what a potential deal might look like between these two sides in the offseason.
