Los Angeles Lakers Receive: Terrence Ross
Orland Magic Receive: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, 2022 1st Round Pick, 2024 2nd Round Pick
Ross would be the lone piece going back to Los Angeles. He would give them another dynamic scoring option off the bench. Ross has proven that he can play at a consistently high level in whatever role he is thrown into. Going from the Magic to the Lakers is something that Ross should welcome.
In return, the Magic could replace Ross with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He is a veteran option that the Magic that would be in Orlando short term as they continue their rebuild. The Magic would also land a first- and second-round pick in the future.

The goal of such a move would be for the Magic to continue to add draft assets as they progress in the early stages of their rebuild. Moving on from Nikola Vucevic helped to add to their war chest, but continuing to trade veterans for deals that bring more is a favorable option. A prime candidate for this is Terrence Ross given how he brings an efficient scoring punch to any team.
Given how the Magic landed RJ Hampton in their trade for Aaron Gordon with the Denver Nuggets, there is already an intriguing shooting guard prospect to feature heavily. Evan Fournier being dealt to the Boston Celtics helped to open up significant opportunity for this but moving Terrence Ross would only help as well.
