Lou Williams – 2021 Free Agent
At the trade deadline this year, the Clippers made a deal with the Hawks, sending veteran guard Lou Williams to Atlanta. Now in his 16th season in the league, Williams is still an effective offseason player and has been so for years now.
Williams is one of, if not the best bench players of all-time in the league and is a 3x Sixth-Man of the Year award recipient. He has averaged double-figure scoring numbers in every season since the 2006-07 season and has found success with numerous teams over the years.

He is nearing the end of his career, but for a cheaper than imagine price in free agency, Dallas could very well end up being the final stop in Lou Williams amazing career. He could definitely be an impactful player for them off-the-bench and could definitely be a fantastic secondary ball handler and scorer for the Mavs.
Prior to being traded to the Hawks, Williams was in his fourth season with the Clippers and in that time span, he averaged 19.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists and shot 36% from three-point range. He can facilitate and score, which is why he could be an impact player for the Mavericks to add to their roster in the offseason.
