Why This Trade Would Benefit The Dallas Mavericks
When the Dallas Mavericks acquired Kristaps Porzingis, they pictured a future of him and Luka Doncic tearing up the Western Conference. Doncic has quickly turned into one of the best players in the league but Porzingis has been unable to remain on the floor consistently. The front office denied NBA trade rumors at the NBA trade deadline but it will be interesting to see if that changes in the offseason.
This is a chance for the Mavericks to replenish a bit of draft capital of that they had to send the Knicks originally for Kristaps Porzingis. They would get first-round draft picks in the future along with two players ready to contribute.
The Mavericks would have a decision on what to do with Adams at the end of the season. He is a productive big man that would bring certain toughness to a team hopefully ready to win. Bledsoe could take over the point guard duty is and allow Doncic to play off the ball a bit more.

This trade is certainly about sending away huge contract a Porzingis and gaining some more draft capital. It all depends on if the front office is truly getting tired of his injury-prone ways.
