Why This Trade Would Make Sense For The Cleveland Cavaliers

This is a great trade for the Cleveland Cavaliers because they would be able to land an NBA All-Star shooting guard that could keep them competitive in the near future. Bradley Beal is the best shooting guard in the NBA right now and his addition to a younger Cavaliers squad could put the team in even better position to compete in 2022.

Sure, the Cavaliers would be giving up a lot to get Bradley Beal, but it would be worth it to give Collin Sexton a superstar backcourt partner. This would quickly elevate Cleveland in a way that would help them to take a new step or two in their progression as a team.

The majority of the Cavaliers roster has little to no playoff experience so attaining that goal could provide the team with a great deal of value even after Beal is on a different team. Sexton has continued to progress in his development and is now a real threat. Factoring in the addition of Jarrett Allen and the Wizards would have an intriguing core group.

Bradley Beal is currently averaging 31.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists for the Wizards and could be a great player for the Cavaliers to add. The Cavaliers would surely be content by agreeing to this deal.
