Charlotte Hornets
This past offseason, the Charlotte Hornets were very busy in upgrading their roster by adding both Gordon Hayward and rookie LaMelo Ball. As a result, they are one of the league’s top offensive teams and find themselves very much in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference with a little over a month left in the regular season.
Unfortunately for them, LaMelo Ball is expected to miss the remainder of the year with a fractured wrist, but with all of the young, athletic talent on this roster, the Hornets are going to be a team to watch in the East moving forward. With them looking to add even more young talent, Horton-Tucker could definitely be on their radar.
Overall, the Hornets do not have much talent on the wing and with both Malik Monk and Devonte’ Graham on expiring contracts, they could potentially look to add Talen Horton-Tucker should one of their current young players go elsewhere in NBA free agency.

The Hornets are expected to have just under $30M in cap space and could definitely look to be aggressive adding numerous role players to fill out the rest of their roster. They do need to address their frontcourt, but at a small investment, they could get Horton-Tucker and have yet another young player they can potentially build with for years to come.
The Hornets are an up and coming team in this league and with all of the young talent they have on their roster, they are going to be a team to watch for a very long time to come.
