This Bulls-Pacers offseason trade is centered on Malcolm Brogdon

These two teams have been busy in recent weeks of the NBA season. Both the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls are out of the playoff race but are hoping to make a run down the stretch to secure a spot. Once this season is complete, the two sides could get together for a trade to help each other.

The Bulls were busy at the NBA trade deadline. They acquired Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic and sent away Wendell Carter Jr. and Otto Porter Jr. They also got Daniel Theis as depth in the frontcourt. The notion of the Bulls selling at the NBA trade deadline was clearly false and was quickly disproven.

Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen were both kept by the Bulls and they decided to add players instead. This was a good move for the franchise. Chicago is just three games out of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. With the current state of the conference, there is a chance for the Bulls to make a run down the stretch.

Indiana is another team that is near the bottom but this was not expected. The Pacers have been a staple in the postseason but they have not looked the part this season. That could have something to do with sending Victor Oladipo to Houston and now he is in Miami.

This is a trade they had to get done because of the contract situations but other big names could be on the block as well. Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner have been two names to surface recently. The Pacers are ninth in the East right now at 21-26 and just a game out of a playoff spot. They will not focus on the offseason just yet but when they get there, this is a deal to keep an eye on.

The Bulls have bought recently and this would be another big move to land them an impact performer. Here is what a potential trade between the two sides could look like once the season is complete.
