The Detroit Pistons could be looking to clean house even further after the NBA season. They already moved Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks and agreed to a buyout with Blake Griffin. We could see the team continue to rebuild and reshape the roster. If they do, Jerami Grant is a name that would get a lot of attention on the trading block.
This is where the Memphis Grizzlies could be interested. Memphis is looking to take the next step towards a postseason appearance. They are currently ninth in the Western Conference at 22-23. They have a chance this year but could be focusing on the future in hopes of building a winner.
When they drafted Ja Morant, the Grizzles knew that there were brighter days ahead. He is looking like a true superstar and will only improve as he matures. This is a chance for the front office to land another big-name player on both ends of the floor.

Detroit has completely fallen apart. Killian Hayes has suffered an injury which will halt his development after being taken with the seventh-overall pick in the draft. Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin are gone which means that the Pistons could be looking to move some more veterans.
The Pistons are clearly interested in building around a young core. This was shown at the trade deadline when they did not want to move Saddiq Bey. Grant was one of their signings in the offseason and is having a tremendous season but that has not translated to the team as they are once again near the bottom of the East.
This is a chance for Grant to find a new home and play with a team interested in competing. Here is what a potential deal might look like between these two sides.
