New York Knicks Receive: Collin Sexton
Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin, 2021 1st Round Pick (via DAL), 2022 1st Round Pick
This trade would send the first round of the Knicks’ draft from a year ago to the Cavaliers in exchange for Collin Sexton. He has taken the next step on the offensive end of the floor averaging 23.9 points per game.
Sexton is proving that he is an extreme producer and this is something the Knicks could use at the top of the offense. Now, the question would be what the Knicks feel is appropriate to give up. The Cavaliers haven’t been able to prove ready soon enough to win with him due to a lack of talent in the supporting cast. Could a compelling trade offer entice Cleveland?

Obi Toppin was used with the eighth-overall pick in the draft but has had trouble getting comfortable in the rotation. He would benefit from a legitimate opportunity — assuming Cleveland moves on altogether from Kevin Love in the upcoming offseason.
Immanuel Quickley was the other first-round selection of the Knicks and he is looking like there is some potential there. Quickly has lacked consistency. Both players would have to be sent away in exchange for Sexton, along with two first-round picks.
Let’s take a closer look at this deal and see how it would help both sides right away.
