3 teams best positioned for Bradley Beal trade in offseason

2. Boston Celtics

When looking at the Celtics, they have greatly underachieved this season and it has been because of their lack of depth. They are currently 23-24 and in the seventh-spot in the Eastern Conference. This is a team that came into the year with championship hopes but have not played the part just yet. They acquired Evan Fournier at the NBA trade deadline and could look to be aggressive once again in the offseason.

Evan Fournier is in the final year of his contract. This means he is a bit of a rental but there is a chance an extension gets done at some point. The Celtics could have their eye on bigger fish in the offseason. Fournier could add some much-needed depth and help the Celtics during the second half of the season.

The Eastern Conference is very top heavy and after the top three, there is not much to be afraid of. Bradley Beal would give Boston another elite option on the offensive end of the floor.

Prospects like Carsen Edwards and Romeo Langford are available if Danny Ainge wants to make another blockbuster deal. The Celtics are another team full of assets and it would be worth it to move some for a player like Bradley Beal.
