3 stars who could be on the move in the NBA offseason

This year, we have seen numerous NBA stars in James Harden, Victor Oladipo and Nikola Vucevic all be on the move via trade, but could this offseason deliver some even bigger fireworks? Maybe not through a trade, but could some of the league’s biggest stars be on the move at the conclusion of the season? It will certainly be something to something in NBA rumors.

Of course, we still have about six weeks to go in the regular season and we have no idea how the rest of the season is going to play out, regular season and playoffs, but it is never too early to begin talking about some potential blockbuster moves that could be made during the NBA offseason.

A lot of these potential moves hinders on how the rest of the season plays out and what happens with some of these superstar’s teams in the playoffs, but there are some big name players that are set to become free agents and some that could be in “undesirable playing situations,” sparking what could end up being a championship caliber move by some franchises in the offseason.

Last year, we saw the Los Angeles Lakers trade for Anthony Davis in one of the biggest deals in NBA history and ultimately, that move led the Lakers to the NBA Finals and their 17th championship in franchise history. Could another team make a similar move for a superstar player to hopefully win a championship?

There is a lot that can happen between now and the NBA offseason, but let’s take a look at three star players who could be on the move in the offseason through free agency or through a trade.
